Biography

The Plinths are an emerging post-punk and alternative rock trio ready to make their mark on the Swedish music scene. Based in Lund, this international band creates music that cuts through modern noise with straightforward energy and honest songwriting.

The Plinths craft songs that are raw but catchy, direct but thoughtful. Ignacio handles vocals and bass with conviction, Johan drives the rhythm section, and Thomas brings a fresh perspective on guitar. Together, they create music that connects without pretense.

Fresh off recording their debut EP "Alive in the Hive" live at Tambourine Studios in Malmö, The Plinths have just released their first single "Hive" and are eager to bring their sound to venues across Sweden and beyond. The track introduces their approach—direct, guitar-driven rock that tackles themes of modern life's monotony and the challenge of staying authentic in a disconnected world.

The band writes about emotional honesty, social isolation, and the difficulty of expressing yourself without judgment. Their songs resonate with listeners who appreciate both musical substance and relatable themes.

The Plinths are ready to bring their sound to venues and festivals, offering audiences rock music that feels both grounded and energizing.
